Today, i woke up at 8:30am. Slept late last night. Last night we were invited to Aunty Ah Mei's BBQ dinner to celebrate her son's excellent results in his final ACCA exam . It was fun and lots of delicacies to eat. Everything there was sooo delicious. Me and my sister even became assistant chef. We came home around 11pm and i had to take a shower because of the barbecue smoke.I slept at about 12midnight and woke up late this morning.
At about 11am, we went to QB . I needed more reference books badly so i went to Popular Bookstore to get some. 9 more days to exam! I bought a total of 4 reference books. 2 Chemistry, 1 Modern Math and 1 physics. Then we went to Jusco. Jcard members have a 5% off on every item purchased. We bought lots and lots of food stuff ! After we finished shopping for stuffs, we went for lunch. Then we brought grandma to a nearby Bata shop to search for her sport shoes. These days, she often go for morning and evening walks with the maid so she needed a pair of sport shoes badly.
After all those shoppings, we returned home to unpack those stuffs.
and finally,
Its time to study !

♥ Monthly Test
10 more days to my monthly test :
3rd of March-6th of March.
This is the very first exam i'm having this year.
Biology, Physics , Chemistry, Add math and EST are the new subjects i'm taking this year.
I have a total of 13 papers to take (including school rules).
I have been told that exams in F4 are usually very difficult so i have to really strive hard this year...
Our english teacher ( who asked us to acknowledge him as sir ) told us that we shall read the short stories from every angle so that we could answer everything asked. He also mention that we should read it again and again so that all the details would be in our minds.

By the way, after this monthly test,
we're having SCHOOL HOLIDAYS again. Hooray !
So, i would have to strive hard this time so that i could enjoy my one week holiday without worrying about my results !
Got to sign off now as i have to be prepared for my piano lesson!

♥ Specially for someone
Uncle Robert crossing the suspension bridge in Pulau Jerejak.This pix is specially for my cousin, Munny who very much regretted for not joining us during CNY. The suspension bridge was much much longer and exciting one compared to the one in Strawberry Park. It has a very natural environment and we even saw a monkey swinging on the tree just above us. Suddenly there was also a huge spider like a tarantula dropping from the tree. It was really scary as it was just right behind me!! Uncle Robert liked the place soo much that he even said he would consider spending a night at the chalet in Pulau Jerejak with his family on his next trip. So Munny, there's always a next time, OK?

♥ Last day of school holiday
Today will be the last day of my CNY school holiday
I went to QB with Brenda,Laine and Tze Chuen
Laine was late so she got scolded by Brenda
Later we bought tickets for the movie CJ7 at GSC
Unfortunately the tickets for CJ7 were sold off,
so we decided to watch Kung Fu Dunk.
Then we went to Sushi King for lunch before the show started.
We were a bit late for the movie but when we went in, the movie hasn't start.
Zhao Min and Fang Yin were in the cinema too!
I saw both of them just a few rows behind me, with their families.
The movie was worth watching, it was kind of a comedy.
After the movie, we went to Popular Book Store to buy some books.
Brenda bought a 'ge mei lia' story book for her sister and i bought a bio reference book since exam is around the corner and i needed one badly.
Eventually, it was time to go home!

♥ 2nd day of CNY
Time flies ~
2nd day of CNY a.k.a nian chu er :
Woke up early in the morning
All of us including my uncle and his family woke up early to get ready for a one day trip to Pulau Jerejak.
We took the 10:45am boat to Pulau Jerejak and reached there 15 mins later.
The boat was slow enough that even it was very near, it took 15 mins for us to reach there!
First thing we reach there is to check out what activities do they have so that we could plan what to do.
We first went to the restaurant to reserve ' buffet for 8 '
Then we went to the " suspension bridge area ".
The suspension bridge was quite a long one and there's water below it.
It was quite nice to have a walk there.
My lil cousins were so afraid that they'll fall off
but i think they felt better when they tried it for the 2nd time.
Then we went to the hotel lobby for the ' Lion Dance Show '
Wow
It was rather amazing for me, as :
It was actually the first time i saw a COMPLETE lion dance show
Then we proceeded to the restaurant for buffet lunch.
The food there was ' okok ' but quite a large variety of food were served.
We had waffle(s) , ais kacang(s) , and cake(s) as desserts.
And at about 2pm we left the island.
Then we went to Queensbay mall ( Jusco actually )
Bought some food stuff and then went home.
We bathed ourselves when we reached home and
my lil cousins watched E.T ( the famous film by Steven Spielberg )
Justin loved it and keep telling us stories after the movie.
Dinner was cooked by my aunt
Spaghetti with a special gravy
It was delicious
We had one after another and even had it for supper !
After that we watched A.I
which i didnt actually concentrate on the film
as i was chatting away.
And again
that's my very happy and simple nian chu er -

♥ 1st day of CNY
Gong Xi Fa Cai ~
On this 1st day of CNY ( also known as nian chu yi )
I woke up at 8am :
Just to prepare for my uncle and his family's arrival.
They arrived at about 10:30am.
The first thing my lil cousins did was sitting on the rocking chair even though the tv wasn't on!
After they took a rest,
we set off to my uncle's house to visit my Granny , Uncle Seong and his family .
After visiting and receiving ang pows,
we went for lunch and then went back home.
After chatting for the whole afternoon
we went out for dinner at night , again.
Eating out with my cousins
especially my cousin brother, Justin , is not easy at all.
He's as active as a monkey . Just NON-STOP .
But he's really very cute !
On this 1st day of CNY ( also known as nian chu yi )

New Year Eve..
Hmm..
We ( Dad, mum sis and me ) had our reunion dinner early
and then set off to Gurney Drive
which is full of people on the New Year's Eve
We walked along the Gurney Drive for awhile
and the went to Mahindrama Temple.
The first thing we did when we reach the temple is that we went for blessings in the blessing room
then we proceeded to the main hall for prayers lead by monks
This year there were less people compared to the previous years
so it was more spacious in the hall
After the prayers, it was 12:10 am
everyone was hungry , so dad decided to drive us to McD.
McD was full of people though it was already 12:30am when we reach there.
After stuffing out stomachs with burgers and soft drinks ( which is an unhealthy meal )
we decided to go home .
After watching tv , we finally went to bed at 2am.
Hmm..

I just finished my book " Falling Leaves Return to Their Roots "
It is a true story of an unwanted chinese daughter, Adeline Yen Mah
Just can't stop reading it
and finally, i finshed reading it !
Chinese New Year is almost here
Today we got food stuffs for CNY from supermarkets - biscuits , mandarin oranges ..
and Aunty Ah Mei from the bakery store behind my house gave us loads of biscuits and snacks for CNY
Thank You, Aunty and Uncle !
Mum said tomorrow we're going to clean the house -
to prepare for CNY
Cleaning the kitchen,backyard,living room and our own rooms
